Choose a morning, not a map pin

Write down the ski-school meeting point or first lift, the time you need to arrive, and whether equipment is collected elsewhere. Ask each property for a realistic winter route. A short map distance can still mean an awkward walk with boots and children.

Audit the evening separately

Morning shuttles and evening transport solve different problems. Before paying, establish where you will eat on arrival and how you return after dinner. If the accommodation offers a shuttle, ask about operating hours, reservations and which stops it serves.

Compare the total stay

Put room cost, equipment transfers, meal arrangements and cancellation terms beside each other. A more expensive room that removes two uncertain daily journeys can be the simpler choice; a cheap room is useful only if its transport works.
